Dr. William Spencer is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics,  a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology.  He holds the position of Chief of the Division of Otolaryngology at Huntington Hospital and is an Assistant Clinical professor at Stony Brook Hospital.
    
While at the University of Miami, Dr. Spencer completed fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology, where he gained experience in advanced pediatric airway reconstruction.  Additionally, he served as a clinical instructor on faculty in the Department of Otolaryngology University of Miami, where he had an active role in resident training, research and education.  Over eighteen publications in peer reviewed journals have been the result of his clinical and basic science research endeavors.                                                                                                   
Dr. Spencer is experienced in a new and innovative procedure called Balloon Sinuplasty, a minimally invasive sinus surgery, as well as coblation assisted procedures of the tonsils and turbinates which produce less pain than traditional methods.

Dr.Spencer currently resides in Centerport with his wife and three children. He is committted to educating parents in all aspects of their childrens health and truly enjoys working in his community among friends and family.
